«And now i’m gonna show you what you won’t find in any guide!» empfing uns unser Fahrer, nachdem wir ein Stück nördlich von Jaipur den Berg vom Amber Fort heruntergeklettert waren. Einige Minuten später lenkte Karnak den alten Hindustan Ambassador durch immer engere Straßen des kleinen Vorortes, bis wir an einen weitläufigen und menschenleeren Platz gelangten, der abgesehen von einem großen Loch in seiner Mitte kaum beachtenswertes aufzuweisen schien. Bis man sich dieses Loch einmal genauer ansah.

Leute aus Amerika wären vor einiger Zeit hier gewesen, auf der Suche nach Anregungen und Locations für einen großen Film, bereichtete er. Wozu sie sich hier und an anderen Plätzen in Rajasthan inspirieren ließen kann man in ‹The Dark Knight rises› sehen.
